Ros was born in Western Australia and lived her early years in a farming community South of Perth.  She moved to Canada in 1967 and most of her working life was in Vancouver.  Ros’s artistic career was originally in stained glass work, then quilting.  She retired to Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island in 2006.

More recently, Ros has taken several courses in both sketch and acrylics and continues to paint regularly with a group of like-minded artists.  She has become a member of OCAC and DeCosmos art groups to widen her contacts in the artistic community.
