Some members of DeCosmos may be interested in joining one of the groups of enthusiastic artists that meet on Tuesday and Friday afternoons.

The artists, who work on their own projects, benefit from the camaraderie and suggestions of other attendees.

The groups meet at the McMillan Arts Centre, 133 McMillan Street in Parksville and participants share the cost of the room rental.  The number of participants is subject to the availability of space.

We have designated space at the Parksville Civic Centre and members of DeCosmos may exhibit art work there.  The next hanging will be February (date to follow) and the current show will be taken down on that day.  The drop-off time will be between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  People wanting to exhibit their paintings must be signed up before that day.  There will be a sign up sheet at the next meeting and members that cannot make that meeting can contact Faith Love-Robertson up to three days before the hanging.  Information for the labels:  artist name; size of work; medium and price and artists are restricted to three pieces of work.  The art will be exhibited for 4 months.
