Artist Deb Peters
‘Nature’s Painting’, 24″ x 18″ acrylic by Deb Peters

Deb Peters has developed a style to help the viewer to see a story within a painting,
to hopefully connect to the art work and enable them to enjoy the story for
years to come.

During the 1980’s, Deb expressed her creative side by becoming a working potter,
developing dish-ware and sculptures. The pottery was designed in a Japanese
styled her works were sold in Western Canada, the Yukon and Japan.

Since 2014, Deb has moved to Vancouver Island for its natural beauty. She is
an Active member of the Canadian Federation, DeCosmos Fine Arts, Sooke Fine Art
Society, Oceanside Community Arts Council, Pacific Rim Art Society and
participates in Art shows and in galleries.

Nanoose Quilters Show

DeCosmos member Linda Greig would like to let members know that the Nanoose Quilters group has a show and sale at the MAC during November. There are many items, from large quilts to small tree decorations and much in between!. Linda has three art quilts in this show. The MAC is open 11-3, Tues – Sun. There is no charge for admission.
